The Johnson Law Office, P.C. practices almost exclusively in bankruptcy law. We are committed to helping people in one or more of the following categories: (1) people who are on the verge of losing their home to foreclosure; (2) people who are drowning in debt, whether from loss of job, medical bills, divorce, or other reasons; (3) people who have visited or dealt with various “bankruptcy alternative” companies, all to find out that now they are worse off than when they started; and (4) people who want to get a mortgage but need to get a lot of debt wiped away before they can pre-qualify for their mortgage loan.

We understand other financial concepts that affect the bankruptcy process such as the mortgage loan process, credit reports, credit scoring and the relationship between credit scores and reports versus obtaining a mortgage loan. We expressly do not hold ourselves out as experts in any of the above-mentioned areas. However, we do have some professional background and experience in those areas, and as such, we seek to structure our bankruptcies so that our clients come out of a bankruptcy in as good a financial condition as possible so that they can obtain a mortgage loan following their bankruptcy in less than twelve months.

We want you to feel comfortable asking us about your bankruptcy. You might wonder how your bankruptcy fits in the “big picture” of your overall money issues. We’ll be happy to address that question and others.

We recognize that financial problems cause stress, and our goal is to deal with the root cause of your financial stress—debt. We will wipe away your debt and give you a fresh start on life. If you are behind on your mortgage payments, we will save your home from foreclosure in most cases.

It is our passion that we help you get a fresh start with you in charge of your financial future so that you can confidently plan for, work towards and achieve your dreams.

We provide every client with a confidential consultation, and we charge flat-rate fees which are discussed up front. When you retain us, we put those fees in writing and give you a copy.

Evening appointments are available, and payment plans may be available depending on the case. Give us a call at (317)536-6268 to arrange a confidential consultation and to discuss if bankruptcy is right for you, and if so, which chapter is best for your situation.
